Hey everyone! We've been collecting all the feedback you guys have been giving and have made some changes and fixes to help alleviate some of the major pain points in the game at the moment. We're letting players browse the store while in queue, adding in AI bots that will play when someone DC's from the game, and fixing the dreaded ability bug that has been plaguing players this week! We're also doing some quality of life changes and additional bug fixes to help smooth the game experience.

AI Now Take Over if a player DC's:
Our journey to a fully-fledged Bot match has begun with the first iteration hitting this week. Now when anyone Disconnects from a match an AI will take control of the trooper. This AI is programmed to seek and complete objectives in both Domination and Strike. We hope this alleviates peoples' frustrations around DC's and will make matches feel fairer.
This is not all on the bots and DC's though. We are gunning for full reconnect functionality allowing DC'd players to re-join games (This is no small task, so bear with us). You will also notice that the bots currently only shoot their weapons, using abilities will be coming real soon. Eventually, we will be taking these bots and creating a custom 5 Human vs 5 AI bot mod. Hopefully over the coming weeks you guys can see these bots grow in capabilities, give us feedback on where they aren’t great and help us get to the bot match end game!

You can now go through the menus while in queue!!!
Some model and texture improvements have been done to some of the assets in the Military Strike Map.
Pods and keys now have additional UI elements to help players understand to attack and collect them.
We have disabled the “exit queue button” once 10 players have been put into a game. There should now be less games breaking because people jump out at the last second.
ABILITY BUG THAT STOPPED YOU FROM USING YOUR ABILITIES FOR THE REST OF THE GAME HAS BEEN FIXED!!! If you encounter any issues in game please come into our Discord and let us know what happened and how.
Steam payment system should now be working, and currencies should now show correctly for your region.
Texture sizes have been reduced on some of the in-game assets, so you should no longer have blurry textures!
Fixed some of the of the word filters in chat so you shouldn’t get as much words filtering out the middle part
Trigger will now follow you out of base!
“waiting for -3 players” now shows the correct number of players who are trying to connect to the game server/failed to connect to the game server. This is usually due to latency/connecting to servers across the world – region locking will solve this in the future!
Some general connectivity issues have been fine-tuned. We can’t stop people timing out due to extremely high ping, or rage quitting, but disconnects should be less frequent now.
Your keys may be set randomly in the options menu while changing settings.
Sometimes the escape key won't work when in various menus, right click on the game to re-focus the window, and ESC should work.
Keys at Launch and Rockets diffused are not tallying correctly at the end of the Strike Match score screen.
Sometimes key UI icons in Strike stay on the minimap after being collected
Some players may not be given a vote on the gamemode vote, we're looking into this.
Sometimes in squad select some players are given a wider aspect ratio than intended.
Sometimes when a Trooper respawns they can lose their overhead UI, we're tracking this down and should have a fix soon.
If you end the match with an ability being aimed, the aiming line/reticule will get stuck on screen. This can cause your abilities to lock off in the next game. If you have this bug go back to main menu before re-queueing and it will fix it.
One-two is not applying the damage increase that it should.
Borderless/Windowed/Fullscreen don't seem to be setting properly, working on a fix.
Sometimes when another player disconnects when you are going into match, the screen will go blurry when you go back to main menu. Everything works fine, but just a bit blurry.
We've had one instance of Trooper's spawning with the incorrect UI, we're keeping an eye out for this, but haven't had any additional instances of the bug.
Some players are experiencing random crashes. Without more information we cannot address the problem. If you experience this then join the discord and send over your log files to BadFox_Eddie. You can ask him how to get your log files and he'll help!

To view this go to Steam > Library > Right Click Super Squad > Properties > Updates
It's at the bottom of the small pop-up window and is a way for you to ensure that you're game is fully updated and able to play in the test.
