Hey everyone! We've been listening to everyone's feedback - our discord, reviews, and emails sent through to us - and there have been 2 main issues that players were experiencing. Long queue times in our off peak hours, and high ping when they were connected to servers not in their region. The following features have been added to fix these issues, and add more to the game:
Introducing AI Bots filling queues, ensuring players get into a game within a maximum of 2 minutes,
Region locking the game, with the ability for you to change your region to your liking,
Fixing some very annoying issues that arose from players jumping out of lobby,
Adding a new domination map: The Abandoned Town,
Tweaking and adding more detail to the visuals of our existing maps.

AI Bot Queue Fill:
The programming duo at BadFox have been working tirelessly over the past 2 weeks to work on AI bots filling matches for when there aren't quite enough players in the queue. We can now guarantee queue times are a maximum of 2 minutes. The first person into queue will begin a count up to 2 minutes, all players in the queue at the end of this 2 minutes will be put through to a match with bots filling the spare slots!
The bots filling player slots also allows us to fix some of the more annoying issues players were experiencing when someone quit out of the game when they were connecting to the server, were in squad select, or were travelling to the map. If someone doesn't make it across or quits out within a grace period of 60 seconds then a bot will fill the slot and the game will continue through to squad select and the match!
As we know that players will always get a match within 2 minutes no matter where in the world they are, we can now region lock the game. This will ensure that players have minimal ping when playing, so landing those skill shots will be that much easier! You will have a choice on what server you want to connect to though - so if you choose to connect to a server across the world, don't be surprised if you have some bad lag...
Improved AI Bot Decision Making:
The Bots general behaviors and movement has been worked on to make them feel a lot more like a player:
They move, group, capture objectives and chase down enemies better than before, we've been playing them a lot and they are a lot of fun to play against!
The Bots now also use (almost) all their abilities. Across the Troopers, almost 90% of the abilities are set up for the bots to use, with the rest to come further down the line!
They're also not 100% accurate anymore, and instead have a deviance either side of the Trooper they're firing at that they can miss by. This means that they are a lot nicer to play against - but beware, because if you get too close to them you might just end up getting wombo combo'd by their abilities...
New Map - Abandoned Town:
Quality of Life Changes:
Multiple map assets have been improved, adding detail to a variety of maps! I can't take screens of all of them, so you'll have to jump in game and see what i'm talking about...
New Trooper Rotation:
Your keys may be set randomly in the options menu while changing settings.
Sometimes the escape key won't work when in various menus, right click on the game to re-focus the window, and ESC should work.
Keys at Launch and Rockets diffused are not tallying correctly at the end of the Strike Match score screen.
Sometimes key UI icons in Strike stay on the minimap after being collected
Sometimes in squad select some players are given a wider aspect ratio than intended.
Sometimes when a Trooper respawns they can lose their overhead UI, we're tracking this down and should have a fix soon.
If you end the match with an ability being aimed, the aiming line/reticule will get stuck on screen. This can cause your abilities to lock off in the next game. If you have this bug go back to main menu before re-queueing and it will fix it.
Borderless/Windowed/Fullscreen don't seem to be setting properly, working on a fix.
We've had one instance of Trooper's spawning with the incorrect UI, we're keeping an eye out for this, but haven't had any additional instances of the bug.
Some players are experiencing random crashes. Some of these have been fixed, but there may be more. If you experience this then join the discord and send over your log files to BadFox_Eddie. You can ask him how to get your log files and he'll help!
